Cancellation Policy

TRAVEL FEES: Before requesting that a technician travel to your location to look over the work to be done,
it's important to determine whether the reasonable likelyhood that the work needs to be done, and that the technician
you have contacted is appropriately matched to the needed work, is sufficient to justify the cost of the technician
traveling to your location. Most technicians charge a fee for traveling to your location to evaluate the work to be done.
The fee is based on the time to travel to your location. This fee is generally not refundable or discountable. It is
possible to contact the technician en route; however, this is discouraged for safety reasons, and for the same reasons,
it may take your technician some time to find a safe place to exit the public roadway and communicate with you safely.
If you cancel your service call while the technician is en route, you will be charged for the travel time up to the
point in time where the technician was able to safely acknowledge your request to cancel.
LABOR FEES: Cancellation of work must be performed through the HAILaGEEK messaging system. If you are unable
to cancel the work through HAILaGEEK's messaging system, you must call the HAILaGEEK toll free number (844) 4DA-GEEK to
register your cancellation request. If you cancel your service call while the technician is performing the service,
you will be charged for the labor time up to the point where your cancellation request was acknowledged by the technician,
or 5 minutes after your cancellation request was placed through the messaging system or called in to the toll free number,
whichever is less. Adjustments to this labor charge may be requested (see our refund policy).
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY: This policy is subject to change at any time. Changes affect the policy regarding all jobs
initiated after the date and time of the change.
